Three Simple Ways of Dealing With Sweating
By Anthony J. Carter
Dealing with excessive sweating is never any fun. Fortunately, there are several different ways to deal with this situation, including Botox injections, powerful antiperspirants, and even several new and affordable types of surgery. However, you may not be able to make use of any of these solutions right away, which means you’ll have to deal with the problem. There are several different ways of controlling excessive sweating, though. Here are three tips that will make your sweating more manageable while you wait for a permanent solution.
1. Don’t stress over it. If you constantly think about how your clothing is going to be ruined or how people are going to notice your excessive sweating, you’ll actually sweat more. If, though, you do your best to relax and not worry about it, you won’t notice it as much. Take a few deep breaths and remember that not everyone is as hyper focused on your sweating as you are.
2. Change your wardrobe. Don’t wear any tight clothing or anything made from artificial fibers since these clothes don’t allow much airflow. Remember to wear clothing you find comfortable. You may even want to use disposable dress shields to absorb the excessive sweat. You can swap these shields out a few times a day to keep dry.
3. Finally, be prepared by carrying extra clothing with you. Take an extra shirt, more dress shields, and some extra antiperspirant to work with you or when you go out. This way, even if your excessive sweating does become noticeable, you have options.
Remember that these steps won’t do much to actually control your excessive sweating, but they will help make it less noticeable. To really deal with the condition, you need to address the source of it, not the symptom (which is what the sweating is).
